Experience design for cancer patients
Interviewed and shadowed cancer patients with a range of conditions and treatments as they interacted with physicians, technicians, and other staff in various facilities and settings. Iterative ideation workshops, bringing key managers from across the organization together with creative outsiders, generated a large number of service and facility innovation ideas grounded in the ethnography. The findings prompted the organization to create an "innovation lab" for developing realistic patient-experience mockups and prototypes |
